We are a relatively small stud (10 broodmares and 3 stallions).  We concentrate on trying to breed broken coloureds.

Our first Shetland a chestnut colt foal was bought in 1995 from the late Mr Matt Slinger.  He was quickly followed by a skewbald broodmare, Tawna Miss Print.  She was put in foal to Plumtree Pride and bred our first foal, Lanamist Late Edition, a skewbald filly who has been retained and gone on to have several foals of her own, thus Lanamist Miniature Shetlands was born.  Since then Tawna Miss Print has produced a number of broken coloured foals but has now retired from breeding and acts as a babysitter when the foals are weaned.
